PLD80! Nuevo and Shamshir!

Lv80 Nuevo and Shamshir get!!

Yes! my second job to lvl to 80 now, and its PLD. Took me quite a few level sync parties to achieve this, I think that the only non-level sync party i did on PLD was for Abyssea, unfortunately i didn’t get lvl80 there cause I go with groups that don’t seem to get many time chests =/

I’m so happy i got level 80 now, mainly because now i can wear my new Shamshir sword, from the trial of the magician quest. I obtained it after a ton of weather camping and alliance killing in western altepa desert and Kuftal tunnel, the last two part of the trial were rather easy, kill lizards during earth day (kuftal tunnel) and kill rafflesia (Fort Kaguro-Naguro) during earth day. The swords final augments are +6VIT and -8% damage taken, which will come in real handy whenever i do /WAR, but first i need to get a few other choice peices. /NIN works too.

I seem to have had a pretty full week too, because not only did I finish my swords upgrades, I also had time to go and receive the reward body armor from the Chest in the Tenshodo, I selected the “Nuevo coselete” with Fast Cast+5 and Enmity +5 for PLD of course, it also happens to have more DEF than my other bodies in the end. It’ll do till I obtain my Valhalla body or Are’s.

Wow! i remembered something else I did, I also finally reached Nyzul Isle Floor 100, and obtained the Runic key. Right after that I set off to Cape Terrigan to collect weapon skill points to obtain Atonoment, I did like maybe 2 weapon skills and then I was done lol, I guess i had just barely obtained the 250 needed ahead of time, before i had reached floor 100.
Right now I’m working on skilling up some of the things I been falling behind on, I bought myself a Mercurial sword and headed out to the tree on PLD, I’m at skill 235, capped skill is 275, I’m actually capping it for DRK. I already have the Spinning Slash weapon skill, but i figure this is easy to cap anyway on PLD80. specially since haste is level40!!! PLD80/WHM40 ftw! ! ! ! !

So happy, after many weeks of 2004 reminding party seeking on DRK and slow exp having, I have finally attained my first level 80 job, and its DRK!
I know most people would of thought I’d level up THF or PLD to 80 first but it seems i don’t get to play those as often as i use to, now a days its always BLM or RDM for all events, which at times makes me want to set home point in cape terrigan and start having a death streak to level 66 or something, but since the level increase has come i decided i will just leave those jobs at 75, another thing i did was when the update came i sold almost all my equipment, and it turned out to be a good choice, since many of my very expensive equipment went down in price right after the update came, specially things like Dusk gloves are like 20,000g now, which were around 120,000 before update, looks like I’m going to be augmenting a lot of those before i get the new abyssea hands, I gotten some of those but Ive been selling them for profit, since they are easy to get and are 200,000g each.
I wonder what today’s maintenance will change, makes me think about what kinda opportunities i have been missing out on, that they had to change, maybe some kinda mistake where u get 5k exp out of nowhere or something, oh well ^^;
I leveled up DRK in a few level sync parties so I’ll have to do some skill up parties, right now my skills are at the equivalent of a level 77 DRK, I want to see the new weapon skill too, i have not had the chance to see it yet.
The sky LS I attend attempted a Kirin burn last week, i hope that this week i can come instead of BRD, Max HP merits, Max Dagger merits, HP gear that i use on PLD, as well as Mercucial Kris so i would guess that it would be useful….. If it isn’t then i need to work on it some more, oh…. actually i don’t have that subligar, i should get that today while i wait for earth day for my trial of magician sword for PLD, Sabotender kills are such a pain…..
Hmmm i kinda veered off subject.. oh well, least i wrote something this time.
