Loxtu Kannagi Omedeto ! !

Loxtu and I finish his Kannagi(85)!

Today I celebrate with my friend the completion of his Kannagi(85). I helped only a little, helped get some helms and some skins from Sobek. Gukumatz camping is sooooooo hard >.<!
But we got it done! The last day we powered through getting pop sets and popping them as we got em so that we could have better chances than just 1 guy trying to claim Gukumatz. I came as THF/DNC for part of it, and then later I came as MNK/WAR cause i can get time extensions a lot easier on that job, by just training a buncha mobs and then killing them all at the same time. Also I helped a BLM friend called Malici finish his ice trial for his staff, he just needed ice killshots so he came and killed my train of lizards, and we got some awesome TEs and while we did that, Gukumatz became uncamped so we got a bunch of KIs back to back.
After we got 4-5 pop sets I changed to THF for Treasure Hunter, when we got down to 3 pop sets left, it was Loxtu and I fear that each one would drop only 1 skin and then wed have to farm up some more pop sets, by that time an LS was camping Gukumatz hardcore…
We got good drops, and even triggered yellow a few times, Loxtu allowed me to lot Ardor Stones for Oropher’s BRD AF.
I am happy Loxtu has his Kannagi now, and I was very glad to be able to help. I know getting through those trials is very difficult alone.
I hope we can finish the Kannagi(90) fast too!

Verethragna (90) {[mine]} ! !

Yay!~ Verethragna (90) (^.^)v

After many many months, and countless hours of farming both solo and in cleave PTs I hosted for random leechers. I finally obtained the 70 Dragua scales I needed to upgrade my Verethragna to lvl 90. Thank you everyone who held the bloodied dragon ear KI needed to pop Dragua for me, and also congratulations on all your AF upgrade items.
In the end it was nice that SE upgraded it to be able to pop 3 at a time, since its such a pain to kill them normally, I eventually just started asking people to pop 1 each and we all run to Martello and I’d brew them using Cataclysm on my WAR or MNK, turned out well. I did actually lose 3 Dragua scales when I flooded the treasure but the KI became easy to get while we expd, so it wasn’t a big deal. Actually  after the last party I ended up with 13 extra scales, which will be going to my Redemption Scythe. Yep! I’m upgrading Redemption, just for fun ;3
Right now I’m helping my friend Shentok farm Glavoid shells so Chloris pops drop at same time, so why not?
I had upgraded the trial Scythe way way back before I knew about abyssea Chloris pops being so hard to get, so I already had the Ultimatum ready anyway. Lets hope this one gets upgraded as swiftly and smoothly as my hand-to-hand did.

So today I went to that fancy new exp ring everyone is talking about, I thought a quest would be involved but apparently all you have to do is talk to the Moogle in one of the starter towns. That was a little disappointing ^^;;
I also got that fancy looking James Bond suit when I spoke with the Moogle, maybe I’ll go to an exppt and TP in that, and see if I still out-DD the other party members with my shiny new Verethragna   ;D
lol, I’m kidding, I wont let the awesome power of Verethragna go to my head >.>;
In any case, look at that /playtime!!!  wth >.<?!
Have I really played that long?….. I mean… how much of that can be AFK time? or sleep Bazzar time?…  Is it time to quit?  ;(
No! I cannot!  I’ll miss Poring and the Poring Ls too much.

My new Verethragna

After several months (yes, I know that short compared to old time relics), with the help of my friends I achieved another thing I thought impossible, or very very difficult.
First I’d like to thank the Poring Linkshell for all their help during Chloris and Ulhuadshi KI farming, and for their support and the encouragement, I owe you guys.
Also everyone who came to hold KIs for me in Tahrongi Canyon or helped me claim Amun, thanks! I hope all the exp was enough to make us even but if its not, please send me a tell whenever you need any help with anything!
I’m usually bored anyway ^^;
Just as I finished the Attohwa Chasm part of this quest SE made the Amun KI drop off gold boxes, right on time huh? lol
I already got started on the level 90 version quest and I’m 20/75 ^^
Pretty much the same strategy as I did in Tahrongi Canyon, so I hope I can count on some of you to come hold some KI for me from time to time.
To Brassna, who said I wouldn’t ever have it, I’d like to say:
“BHUHAHAHAHAHA, IN YOUR FACE!!! “

Something to post!

Finally I accomplished (with the aid of several friends) something worth posting!
Today I reached the 25/50 mark on my Trial 1139, which is the trial to turn the hand-to-hand weapon “Mantis” to “Verethragna”. It has taken me about 5-7 weeks of slowly progressing and with a lot of breaks in between, but slowly I got to the halfway point now.
Of course most linkshells now a days do this in a matter of days with 20 people killing NMs and farming boxes I know, I know, and good for them! I chose to do it like this instead of joining a linkshell and getting attendance points (double attendance in most LS since I have 2 characters) but so what?
Yesterday I went off to Tahrongi Canyon and started to duo with my mule for boxes like always just the 2 of us, and eventually it was 3, then 4, then 6 and lastly 8 or so. People came to hold KIs for me since that dam Bat KI is so rare for me… and the pop item is 100k, also no one minds a little free exp and cruor right?
By the end of the night I had cleaved up 6 (i think) pop sets for Chloris and a few Glavoid too. We killed Chloris and I gave away the members who helped with that liberty to lot the nice shiny gloves it drops like I do for all the NMs I get help with. Matchuu didn’t come to help farm this time and after asking several times if he wanted to pop the Glavoid sets and him saying he was busy I gave up, and everyone left.
Thank You again everyone who came to keep me company in Tahrongi Canyon last time, I hope that we can do this again soon.
